The primary purpose of this position is managing customer. Managing projects from enquiry to shipment, as well as after-sales service with efficient solutions for customers’ problems through proactively communicating with end customers, external sales, internal operations to meet customer requirements, to ensure customer satisfaction and sustain continual businesses.
Position Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
1. Support the assigned region accounts from STAR (Zhongshan base)
with all customer communications and coordinate customer activities with
the operations timely
2. Coordinate customer visit to Star manufacturing facility
3. Support the external salesperson regards the development of new
business and cross territory customers
4. Ensure client RFQ details are compatible and match STAR Rapid
capabilities
5. Keep learning the core manufacturing processes of Star Rapid, but not
limited to:
* CNC Machining
* Plastic Injection Mold and Moldings
* Pressure Die Casting
* 3D Metal Printing
* Surface Finishing (painting, anodizing, plating and so on)
* Prototype and Production Manufacturing
1. Collect customer enquiry requirements
2. Send the quote to customer
3. Coordinate the costing team and supply chain
4. Create a collaborative environment to win orders, setting up project
review meetings with the management team, sales, costing, engineering, quality, to provide proposals based on customers’ needs
Position Requirements:
1. Engineering background, a good understanding of manufacture
procedures, processes (preferred)
2. Bachelor’s degree or above in business, project management
engineering, public relations, international business, or foreign language
3. Excellent English communication both in oral and written
4. At least 3-year experience in production coordination, customer service, project management related or international trade
5. Enthusiastic, proactive, solution-oriented, independent and detailorientated
6. Have a strong team spirit, a strong sense of responsibility and high
learning capacity
7. Ability to work under big pressure with patience and courtesy
8. Ability to manage timeline and deliverable
9. Ability to multitask, prioritize and effectively manage workflow
10. Capable of learning and mastering CRM & ERP as user
11. Better someone who can start right away and no need to wait for one more month on resignation from the previous job
